Notre-Dame de Knock, Reine d’Irlande,

Vous avez rendu espoir au peuple en des temps de détresse,

Vous avez consolé le peuple et Vous avez inspiré tant de pèlerins

à prier Votre Divin fils avec confiance.

Vous avez rappelé Ses promesses :

« Demandez et vous recevrez, cherchez et vous trouverez. »

Aidez-nous à nous souvenir que nous sommes tous

pèlerins sur la route du Ciel.

Remplissez-nous d’attention et d’amour

pour nos frères et sœurs dans le Christ,

et tout spécialement, ceux qui vivent dans notre entourage.

Réconfortez-nous quand nous sommes malades ou déprimés.

Apprenez-nous à suivre la Sainte Messe avec grande dévotion.

Priez pour nous maintenant et à l’heure de notre mort.

Notre-Dame de Knock, Mère de l’Eucharistie, intercède auprès de Ton Divin Fils et obtiens-nous un esprit d’adoration en esprit et en vérité. Apprends-nous à ne pas chercher les consolations sensibles dans l’adoration, mais le Dieu de toute consolation Présent au Saint-Sacrement. Nous Te prions aussi pour ceux qui ignorent la Présence de l’Agneau de Dieu dans l’Eucharistie et refusent ainsi d’adorer le Roi des rois et Seigneur des seigneurs Présent au Saint-Sacrement. Là, Il répète Son éternel appel : « Ne pouvez-vous pas veiller une heure avec Moi ? » (Mc 14, 37).

Prayer to Our Lady of Knock

Our Lady of Knock, Queen of Ireland, you gave hope to our people in a time of distress and comforted them in sorrow. You have inspired countless pilgrims to pray with confidence to your divine Son, remembering His promise: "Ask and you shall receive, Seek and you shall find". Help me to remember that we are all pilgrims on the road to heaven. Fill me with love and concern for my brothers and sisters in Christ, especially those who live with me. Comfort me when I am sick or lonely or depressed. Teach me how to take part ever more reverently in the holy Mass. Pray for me now, and at the hour of my death. Amen.
